Kia Ora is a Māori greeting, and a farewell, used by all who call New Zealand home. I choose to call my company Kia Ora Pie Co for its more literal translation from Te Reo Māori (the Māori language) to English, which means to “wish the essence of life” upon someone. Sharing a meal and cooking for people has been one of my favourite ways to show those I love my appreciation.

Both of us have been to New Zealand and I can tell you although we never had Chicken Brie and Cranberry flavours in New Zealand it was an absolute stroke of genius. The steak and cheese is a local favourite and brought me back to New Zealand! We will definitely be ordering more pies in the future.”

A vegetarian-friendly version of our Butter Chicken! Chunks of Kumara and carrots are tossed in garam masala and roasted until tender, then baked with our house-made spicy masala, tomato and cream sauce.
